WP-Cirrus

WP-Cirrus ist ein WordPress-Plugin zum Darstellen der Tags eines Blogs. Dabei werden die Tags auf einer sich drehenden Kugel angeordnet.

Dieses Plugin orientiert sich am Flash-basierten “WP-Cumulus”. Allerdings basiert es auf JavaScript und CSS. Damit kann es auch problemlos auf Plattformen ohne Flash-Plugin dargestellt werden, z.b. iPhone oder iPad von Apple.

  1. Zu “WP-Firewall” kann ich nicht viel sagen, da ich es nicht kenne. Das PNG gehört auch nicht zu unserem Plugin.

    Great plugin! Only wishing there was an option for the animation to stop when the user hovers the cloud, it would be a lot easier to click the links, right now you kind of have to “chase” them.

  5. Hello, i’m trying to make the plugin work but it doesn’t. It only shown a bulleted list of tags without the great animation… I have wordpress 3.2.1 installed and work with the canvas theme of woothemes…

    Eine Frage hätte ich: wie kann ich die Geschwindigkeit der Bewegung drosseln?

    Also ich meine jetzt nicht die Refreshrate, sondern die tatsächliche Bewegung. Die wird nämlich ziemlich schnell, wenn man das Plugin auf 400×300 laufen lässt –> dann wird es aufgrund der Geschwindigkeit manchmal schwierig, die Tags mit dem Mauspfeil überhaupt noch zu erwischen.

      die Bewegung im »Normalzustand« kriege ich auf ein erträgliches Mass, aber wenn ich mit der Maus drüberhovere, geht der Punk ab :-o

    • Habe das gleiche Problem, die tags rasen viel zu schnell im Kreis herum, sobald der Mauszeiger hovert.

  7. Hello, This is very nice, but it moves constantly. Can you make it stop if the mouse is not hovering? And also make it react to the mouse focus so that it is easier to catch a keyword and click on it?

    Mine isn’t moving either, it’s just a list. With the previous WP version it worked, and then one day it stopped being this gorgeous stuff.

  9. When I use the shortcode within a column layout (eithor something like [one_fourth], or a div), the animation always shifts to the far left top of the section – even if I put the shortcode into the far right section. say I put the shortcode into the last column – the animation always ends up at the top of the first column.
    Any ideas?

    • Das liegt am Theme, welches die Meta-Infos sonst in einer Liste darstellt. Wir schauen mal, ob es dafür eine Lösung gibt.

  11. I do love your plugin and I use it a lot, nuw I have a theme that uses tags to display featured images… AND I can see very big tag in the cloud (“featured” and “full-image”) and I DO WANT to exclude them to be seen in the tag cloud. Is there a way? thanks a lot

    • Hi,
      it looks like you are using some additional JavaScript minification script (“Booster”?). Is there a way to exclude our script from that? Our script is already minified and highly optimized for the browser.
